Click the “Report” tool (then the “Accessibility Issues” item), and you can find out accessibility issues of the current HTML document in Firefox. Unlike other web-based accessibility checkers, this feature works for any HTML documents, including those generated by scripts after authentication to a site.
The report lists the violated rules, the number of violations and a message that describes the rule. Double clicking each line item shows all elements of the concerned category (such as <img> elements), and the ones with violations are highlighted. You can also click “View Summary” to see a more detailed in HTML format, which can be printed. Warnings are highlighted in yellow, and failings are highlighted in red.
The “Report” feature of FAE is, no doubt, one of the most useful features of any accessibility assessment tools. Although it does not ‘crawl’ a web site to assess individual pages automatically, it is still an extremely useful tool for any web designer or web developer.
