While he possesses a broad familiarity of tech-related concepts, his niche is situated within the software sector, and specifically focuses on web development. Richie has foundational knowledge of coding in HTML5 and in CSS3 (CISW 300) and a fundamental understanding of programming in Python (CISP 300). To complement these technical skills, Richie also possesses various soft skills that are essential to have in the web development industry. Some of these academic aspirations include earning an Associate of Science in Web Development from the Los Rios Community College District. After graduating, Richie plans to further prepare himself for a successful career, by actively seeking externships, internships, and volunteering opportunities to gain valuable real-world experience. Ultimately, Richie hopes that his technical skills, soft skills, and expertise that he has gained throughout his college experience, will equip him to land an entry-level position in the web development industry. Richie envisions making a career out of being a front-end developer, back-end developer, full-stack developer, or quality assurance tester. Driven by his passion for coding, Richie believes that securing a position as a web developer will be the realization of a dream—transforming a beloved pastime into a fulfilling career. Because this passion is so ingrained in his life, he approaches it like a hobby, eagerly exploring new concepts and skills in his free time, not just during school.
