The Internet is always getting faster (more networking bandwidth) and more accessible (both in terms of connectivity and cost). If this trend continues, it won’t be long before the majority has a mobile device that is Internet connected. I’d say give it another 5 years. By 2014, most people will be connected to the Internet, wirelessly.
