First, create an empty form. You can follow the same procedure as discussed in module 0151. Then, select the text box tool.
Once you draw a text box, you will see that the text box has a default label (in the following picture, the label is Text2), and the text box itself has “Unbound” in it. This is because this text box is not linked to any column of a table or query in Access. Don’t worry about this, we just want to experiment with a text box at this point.
You can run the form by switching from “Design View” to “Form View”. Of course, the text box does not really do much at this point.
