This is probably, by far, the easiest method to take Linux with you. You can
download the ISO image of a live CD like KNOPPIX, burn it onto a CD/DVD,
then reboot a computer with the CD/DVD into Linux. There are many
live CD/DVD Linux distributions. KNOPPIX (http://www.knoppix.net) is only one of them.
