5.4 Configuration

The first item to configure is the MTA (mail transfer agent). Unless you are setting up a system that receives email from the Internet, the default option ``local delivery...'' should be fine. Next, the installer asks about the mail recipient receiving messages for the root. Again, the default should be fine.

If you have additional components selected in the previous step, there may be some additional configuration screens.

If not, the last screen is a confirmation screen. Debian Linux is installed! Just remember that the utility program to install and configure the base system is base-config.
