3 Getting the Files

The home site of QEMU is http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr, and that where you'll find the latest files. However, you may not be able to find the latest installation files for Win32.

At this point (July 2006), you can download the emulator for PC at http://www.h6.dion.ne.jp/~kazuw/qemu-win/qemu-0.8.2-windows.zip, and the accelerator at http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/kqemu-1.3.0pre9.tar.gz.

You may also be interested in getting 7-Zip. It is a archive utility program that is GPLed (open source). You can find it at http://www.7-zip.org. Open (run) the installer and get it installed.
