5.2 Configuring the installer

The installer boots knowing very little about your system. The next step is to inform the installer about the hardware configuration of the system.

Note that typically, the installer recognizes most hardware devices automatically, and does not need any manual operation. However, sometimes a device may not be detected automatically, then you need to manually configure the device driver for the installer.
