I was born in Ukraine and moved to America when I was 10 years old. The transition was a mix of excitement and challenge as I adjusted to a new culture, language, and way of life. Though leaving behind familiar places and friends was difficult, the experience opened new opportunities and shaped who I am today. My roots in Ukraine remain an important part of my identity, while my time in America has helped me grow and adapt in ways I never imagined.

I learned to play chess with my dad, spending countless hours practicing strategies and enjoying our matches together. His patience and guidance helped me improve, and eventually, I entered a local tournament. It was a tough competition, but all the practice paid off, and I managed to stay focused through each round. To my excitement, I won first place, making the moment even more special knowing how much my dad had helped me get there.

I’ve become the go-to person for fixing everything around the house, whether it’s a leaky faucet, a broken light switch, or a wobbly table. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what’s wrong and finding creative solutions, often learning new skills along the way. From patching drywall to troubleshooting appliances, I take pride in keeping things running smoothly. It feels rewarding to know that, no matter what breaks, I can handle it and make the house feel like home again.
