Homemade mac and cheese that's savory, cheesy, and flavorful. It's filling and will make you feel better after a hard day. (2 servings).

  1. Put water in a pot and place on stovetop. Set heat to high.
  2. Shred both cheeses with a cheese grater into a bowl.
  3. Once water boils, add the pasta. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once cooked, drain pasta and set aside.
  5. In the same pot, create a roux by combining butter, milk, and flour. Once roux has been made, slowly add the cheese.
  6. Mix until well combined, then add all spices. Add more milk as necessary.
  7. Add the cooked pasta back into the pot. Mix together with the cheese sauce on low heat until combined.
  8. Turn off the stove heat and pour mac and cheese into a large bowl for serving.
  9. Enjoy!
