Strawberry cream cake with fresh strawberries

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  4. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until the batter is smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Let the cake cool completely before adding the filling.
  7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  8. Slice the strawberries and spread them over the cake.
  9. Add whipped cream on top and decorate with extra strawberries.
  10. Chill before serving for the best flavor.
