2.1 Motor skills

This group of users do not have the motor skills to control a pointing device to click hyperlinks, or to use the keyboard effectively. Individuals in this group include older people, people who have lost limbs, and people with motor skills difficulties due to nervous system abnormalities.

Without the fine motor skills to use a pointing device or a keyboard, a user has difficulties to use hyperlinks, toolbar buttons, or even to use the menus. Another difficulty is the difficulty to scroll a webpage horizontally or vertically.
