4.3 Log everything

An good engineer keeps a log of everything that relates to a project. Get a bunch of notepads (doens't even have to be the big ones), and just write down ideas, plans, results and etc. about a project. Date each entry, too.

This log serves as your external memory. If you don't remember what you did to the drive ciruit a week earlier, just look it up in the log. This is quite important, because we cannot always remember what we did or how we did something.

This log can also be used as evidence of effort. In the worst case scenario of a team falling apart, and the project not complete, your log is proof that you did your part on time. That can potentially save your grade.
