4.2 Local customization

The first option screen is titled ``Choose Language'', and the default is English. Change the language to whatever you wish using the up and down keys, then press ENTER to proceed to the next screen.

Then, based on the language selected, the installer further asks about the nationality. For English, the default is ``United States''. Select your option using the up/down keys, then press ENTER.

The next screen asks about the keyboard layout. For most Americans, the default of ``American English'' should be fine. If you have a keyboard that is specialized for the language that you have selected earlier, be sure to select the right keyboard layout (using the up/down keys). Press ENTER to continue.

Next, the installer will attempt to self-detect the hardware of your system. This may take a while, especially when done in an emulator.
