6 Summary of steps

• Download QEMU from http://www.h6.dion.ne.jp/~kazuw/qemu-win/qemu-0.8.2-windows.zip.
• Download and install 7-zip from http://www.7-zip.org.
• Unzip the QEMU package to a particular path, say c:\qemu.
• Download the QEMU accelerator from http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/kqemu-1.3.0pre9.tar.gz.
• Use 7-zip to open the kqemu...tar.gz file. Extract the files kqemu.inf and kqemu.sys.
• Use WordPad to open kqemu.inf, and save it again. Close WordPad.
• Right click kqemu.inf, select ``Install'' from the pop-up menu.
• Open a command line interface (CLI). Change directory to where QEMU was installed (c:\qemu\...).
• In the CLI, type qemu-win to test the installation. If a Linux shell is launched, everything is okay. Close the emulator Window.
