6 Server configuration

Debian Linux does not have a special ``server edition'' like other operating systems. Special server configuration simply means the selection and configuration of special optional components. This will be discussed in another module.

Note that Debian Linux, by default, is quite secure. Most ports and services are disabled. As a result, the configuration of server includes the enabling and configuration of ports and services.
