The Magic and Crafts

Maggie Arce

The deck I'm holding in the video is The Wild Unknown by Kim Krans; it's well-worn but I still use it today, even if I don't believe in magic as much as I did when I was a kid. I was honestly a pretty gullible kid and I wanted to believe that there was something out there to help me.

Considering that we're on a bit of a nostalgic trip, one of my favorite songs is from the LittleBigPlanet soundtrack. It's called "I Have Changed" by H.P. RIOT. I have a soft spot for the video game because I've played it since I was five years old and grew up with the franchise.

I honestly wouldn't consider music like this to be in my favorites, but since it's been apart of my life for so long, I can't help but enjoy it. It's been sixteen years since I first played the LittleBigPlanet games and still holds such a soft spot in my heart...despite an interestingly bad release of its third game. Some people also like the Sackboy: A Big Adventure title, but I'm not particularly interested in its platforming style. Not having Creative Mode was a huge setback in my opinions on it, to be honest.

It's honestly amazing how much media, as horrifying as The Craft or as loving as the LittleBigPlanet series, could impact people even decades after it's been released. I wasn't even born when The Craft first released.
